We had Dave H out to inspect a foundation and water issue in our basement. We were impressed by his professionalism. We felt he gave us an honest evaluation and recommended several solutions that his company could provide to resolve our basement problem. We would definitely consider using JD Johnson for our repairs.

I call JD Johnson to have an estimate for water intrusion of my basement crawl space. Wayne Johnson showed up on time. He promptly inspected the crawl space from the inside and outside. After careful analysis he discovered the water intrusion was the result of a leaking gutter. He even used a water hose to show and prove the leaking. Water intrusion would be fixed by simply sealing a gutter. Wayne treated me as if I was paying for a job thar would cost thousands of dollars. Words cannot express how appreciative I was that he was so skilled and HONEST. He probably lost money and time by completing the estimate and could of easily sold me something I did not need. A STAND UP GUY AND A STAND UP COMPANY.

When I called to schedule an appointment with JD Waterproofing, Pete was my first point of contact. Pete was very professional, kind. He did an inspection and provided his professional recommendations. Although services I needed could not be scheduled right away, Pete kept me abreast of the scheduling process. A few weeks later, I met Rusty who added even more value to the company because he was also just as professional, thorough, and kind. This family owned business is professional, polite, extremely knowledgeable and takes time to educate their clients! Wayne listened to the descriptions of our basement water issues and gave his professional opinion. Rusty performed “Jettying” to our downspouts and determined a root cause. This company is like no other waterproofing company I’ve ever dealt with, other companies wanted to do a full house water proofing. This company tries to find the cause and go from there. I cannot tell you how lucky I was to have selected Engineered Waterproofing to do my work. From Steve meeting with me to review the problem/job and providing a quote, to the team on site they were unbelievable. Steve was very knowledgeable. He guided me on possible solutions and provided a timely quote which was very reasonably priced. The on site crew was on time. The owner Jay was actually on site running the equipment. His team included Rusty and Cory and they were a well oiled team. Jay did a great job running the equipment on a very challenging dig. You can tell they were very experienced and worked well together. They were very informative and professional. They did not waste any time and were hard at work all day completing my job in one day. Wow! this team did such an amazing job! They were punctual, courteous and cleaned up when they were done. They also finished on time (maybe even a little earlier than they planned!) and did a great job answering any questions I had. They also tolerated my young son wanting to watch them work 😉 If we have issues in other parts of our basement where we didn’t decide to waterproof yet, we are calling J.D. Johnson again!

I cannot repeat often enough how pleased I am with the overall experience I had with the crew of JD Waterproofing! The work was done swiftly and efficiently without sacrificing the quality of their work. My basement is now dry and no longer smells damp or moldy. The work was completed at the end of July and now that we are entering the wetter seasons of Autumn and Winter, the sump pump has most certainly saved me from having a flooded basement again more than once. ((The result is that, the work has saved me money in insurance claim deductibles in my opinion.) Also, the construction crew was very tidy and considerate of my home and property. Overall, I consider the money spent on my basement a worthwhile investment in my home and considering my high level of satisfaction with both the quality of workmanship and level of professionalism of the crew, I have recommended them to several neighbors already and will continue to do so.

This is a company with a lot of experience and knowledge of structural and foundation issues. We talked to several companies before JD Waterproofing, and none of them had the comprehensive understanding of JD Waterproofing. Our house is very old, so we were concerned about the integrity of our walls and Jay’s background as an architectural engineer provided us with the extra confidence that we needed. Because they do both exterior and interior work, they had no need to sell us on one particular approach, they simply recommended what they thought was “the best and most practical”. The team of guys were all very knowledgeable, professional, and neat. We especially appreciated the good communication that they provided during each step by explaining and showing us what they were doing as they moved through the job. A structural engineer who inspected my home’s foundation highly recommended J D Johnson Waterproofing to me. I am so glad that I contacted them! After an estimate that took into account my concerns and budget, I scheduled a date to have the work done. The crew arrived on time and began work immediately. They were very respectful of my home and outside landscaping as they installed steel support beams in the basement and connected downspouts to a catch basin for drainage. As they worked, they kept me informed of the progress and answered all my questions. Upon completion, the crew did a superior cleanup job!!! Jay and his guys were knowledgeable, conscientious, respectful and pleasant. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for a stress-free experience! Five stars!

Great company, Owner (who has the knowledge and experience you need) came out right away, provided several options, honest truth even if it meant us saving money which is opposite of big name companies who send out a sales person that will push you to most expensive fix. Got the work completed very fast (within a week of my initial call). Cheaper than anyone else I had come out for same work. Professional and respectful as you are going to find. We bought a house 8 months ago with undisclosed water issues. Total nightmare… any time it would even threaten to rain we’d be on pins and needles. Forget about sleeping if overnight rain was in the forecast. Rusty and the guys gave a fair quote and did a terrific job, starting with the footer drains and working up from there. Very pleasant and professional. It’s so nice to be done with the water problems!
