Our foundation replacement process is simple. We generally follow these steps:
Step 1:
Excavation of the damaged foundation.
Step 2:
Brace 1st floor structure and demo the foundation.
Step 3:
Install new footing (if clay walls), or utilize existing code compliant footing. Install vertical rebar & draintile/stone.
Step 4:
Install new block wall foundation. Grout and rebar cores per code.
Step 5:
Parge new foundation (cementitious coating).
Step 6:
Tar the foundation.
Step 7:
Install dimple board and downspouts.
Step 8:
Install gravel over draintile and silt fabric.
Step 9:
Backfill and rough grade.
Step 10:
Remove interior support posts
Step 11:
Clean and install dimple boards at base (if existing interior system exists). Concrete edges.
